Hesperiidae

Dingy Skipper

About 2cm across. Very hard to follow but well worth it as they are not that common.

There is also a Dingy Skipper in one of the Nymphalidae -> Marsh Fritillary photos.

Silver Spotted Skipper

Just slightly larger than a Small Skipper and similarly shaped. These are distinguished by the set of silver spots on the underwing, and different patterns on the top wing. Like Large, Small and Essex Skippers, the male has a darker black line towards the front of the top wing, as well as a slightly different pattern.
